Final hurrah includes prizes

DIXON – Dixon Public Library’s 2013 Youth Summer Reading Program, “Visit Book Island,” wraps up this week.

The following activities are planned:

Drop-in crafts, all week, for all ages, between 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday: The library will have craft supplies available, including materials for clay and painting projects.

Supplies can be found at the youth circulation desk.

Volunteer photo and thank you from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday: All volunteers are welcome to come to the library to receive a thank-you gift, have an island snack, and be a part of a group photo to be submitted to the paper.

Reading log drawing: Summer readers have until the end of the week to complete their “Fiction is Fun” book log. Completed logs should be taken to the youth circulation desk to enter the drawing for the large stuffed animals.

The drawing will be July 20.
