Language lessons to begin at center

DIXON – A 4-week Survival Spanish class will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays in August at the Dixon Senior Center, 100 W. Second St. The cost is $20. 

This class stresses basic skills for those with no prior Spanish language training. It is geared for senior citizens, but is open to anyone. In-class practice emphasizes pronunciation, basic vocabularies, and everyday expressions.

Call the Lee County Council on Aging at 815-288-9236 to reserve a place; class size is limited to 12.
