Sterling Police

Lorena A. Miller, 43, of Sterling; 11:41 a.m. Tuesday at East Third Street and Seventh Avenue; improper starting of a parked vehicle, no insurance; posted driver’s license.

Summer S. Sublett, 18, of Sterling; 11:22 p.m. Tuesday at East Third Street and Third Avenue; one headlight; posted driver’s license.

Jerome M. Tucker, 46, of Sterling; 11:49 p.m. Wednesday at Avenue D and West Fourth Street; no insurance; given notice to appear in court.

Ogle County Sheriff

Besim Ajvazi, 18, and Oscar Regalado, 20, both of Rochelle, and a 15-year-old Creston youth; Tuesday at Shangri-La Trailer Park; residential burglary. Ajvazi and Regalado were taken to Ogle County Jail, the 15-year-old was released to a parent.

Cole Ramos, 25, of Rochelle; Tuesday; forgery; taken to Ogle County Jail.

Jenna F. Smith, 21, of Byron; 7:08 p.m. Tuesday in the 6000 block of state Route 72; driving with a suspended license, speeding, operating an uninsured vehicle; posted I-Bond.

James R. Brewster, 61, of Evansville, Ind.; 8:56 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 39, Lee County; improper lane usage, driving under the influence; posted bond.

17-year-old Rock Falls youth; 11:33 p.m. Sunday at Louis and Marsha lanes, Rock Falls; no valid driver’s license; posted I-Bond.

Jamey M. Leal, 35, of Rock Falls; 1:27 p.m. Monday on Interstate 39, Ogle County; failure to yield after striking a vehicle driven by Dustin J. Nettleton, 22, of Sanford, N.C.; no injuries.

James E. Currie, 68, of Ellenton, Fla.; 1:47 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 39, Ogle County; driving with a suspended license; posted I-Bond.

Carl J. Hodge, 49, of Kenosha, Wis.; 7:54 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 39, Lee County; driving with a suspended license; posted I-Bond.

David A. Winters, 36, of Chicago; 11 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 39, Ogle County; failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after swerving out of the lane, losing control and tipping onto the side of the vehicle; no injuries.

Dennis A. McSweeney, 43, of Mystic, Wis.; 11:14 a.m. Tuesday at U.S. Route 30 and Moline Road, Whiteside County; Ogle County warrant – speeding; posted $100.

Ross E. Wahlgren, 28, of Sandwich; 3:42 p.m. Tuesday at U.S. Route 30, Lee County; driving under the influence of drugs, possession of cannabis, 2.5 to 10 grams, no seat belt; posted $300.
