DIXON – Cherry Elizabeth Lewis, 71, of Dixon, died Friday, June 21, 2013, at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.

She was born on June 20, 1942, in Kewanee, the daughter of Clarence William and Mary Rebecca (Lincoln) Harshbarger. She married Adam Koehler Jr. She later married Lyle A. Lewis on Oct. 19, 1973. He died Aug. 15, 1981.

Survivors include her children, Kathy (Terry) Chambers of Lostant, and Tory (Shelley) Koehler and Connie Hoyle (Lou Schwartz), both of Dixon; two brothers, Bob (Phyllis) Harshbarger of Huntley and Steve Harshbarger of Clinton, Iowa; her sister, Mary (Jerry) Brown of St. Louis, Mo.; sister-in-law, Josephine Harshbarger of Dixon; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents; and two brothers, David Harshbarger and William Harshbarger.

There will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place. McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory handled arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice and Home.
