Poker run, concert to benefit Wounded Warrior

MOUNT MORRIS – A poker run and rock concert to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project begins at 10 a.m. June 29 at Sharky’s Sports Bar and Grill, 3 N. Wesley Ave.

Poker run sign-up starts at 10 a.m.; the run begins at noon, and last vehicle must be in by 6 p.m. Cost is $15, which includes a pig roast and the concert at the end of the run.

Classic rock band Audiodrive opens from 7 to 8:45 p.m., followed by nationally known rockers Wayland (www.waylandtheband.com).

Admission to just the concert, which is for ages 21 and older only, is $10; IDs will be checked at the gate.

Pizza, Mexican cuisine, burgers and sweet corn will be sold in a food court. For a donation to Wounded Warriors, the Mount Morris Moose Club will make camping available on its grounds and will serve breakfast Sunday morning.
