Body found in N. Illinois home after 8 months

YORKVILLE (AP) — An autopsy is expected to take place on the remains of a 27-year-old Yorkville man whose badly decomposed body was discovered this week in his home — likely months after he died.

Police tell The (Aurora) Beacon-News (http://bit.ly/11xHIVh ) that Justin Ludolph's body may have been in the home since at least October.

The remains were discovered Monday by a locksmith who was sent to the property because the home was entering foreclosure.

Authorities say they don't suspect foul play, but can't yet say how Ludolph died. An autopsy is scheduled to take place Wednesday. Packages near the man's front door had been piling up since the fall.

Yorkville is about 10 miles southwest of Aurora.

Rock Falls is considering a ban on leaf burning. Should the city finally take that step?
Yes. Sterling and Dixon have had bans for years. It’s time for Rock Falls to impose a ban.
No. It would be too great a burden for homeowners to dispose of fallen leaves in other ways.
