BLOOMINGTON – Elsa L. Dale, 80, of Bloomington, passed away at 6:10 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013, at her home.

Elsa was born Aug. 27, 1932, in Princeton, the daughter of Raymond and Laura Clark Hassler. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Bloomington, Bloomington Moose Lodge 745, and the MLS.

Surviving are her children, Morris (Karen) Dale of Bloomington and Ramona Cone of Mackinaw; her grandchildren, Vanessa Connelley, Adrian Connelley, Joshua Altfilisch, Benjamin Altfilisch, Sam Cone, Benjamin Cone, and Mallory Cone; and her brother, Robert (Melva) Hassler of Princeton.

The family would like to thank OSF Hospice for the kindness and generosity that they provided for Elsa and her family during her illness.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bloomington, with the Rev. Jonathan Manor, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington.
