Whiteside senior center offers free safety, Medicare programs

STERLING – Two free programs, on personal safety and on Medicare, are being offered this week at Whiteside County Senior Center, 1207 W. Ninth St.

Representatives from Unity Hospice of Western Illinois will speak at 11 a.m. Wednesday about personal safety and keeping others safe. A Swedish meatball lunch will be served for $5.

Registration is required for the program at 1 p.m. Friday, for those new to Medicare or who want more information.
