Thank you for supporting DHS students

Published: Saturday, June 15, 2013 1:15 a.m. CST

The awards assembly May 30 at Dixon High School, not only highlighted the efforts, achievements and successes of our students, but also showed the support and generosity of our community. Local individuals, businesses and service organizations awarded nearly $200,000 in scholarships to our seniors.

The students, staff and administration of DHS appreciate the community members who recognized our students and assisted them financially with their post-secondary endeavors.

Thank you to all who participated in our awards presentation. We are grateful to be part of a community that is supportive of education.

Note to readers – Amy Ebert is a Dixon High School counselor.
