Oklahoma artist to entertain locally

STERLING – Dennis Jernigan, a worship artist, songwriter, and author nicknamed “America’s lead worshipper,” will perform a free concert July 13.

The program will start at 6 p.m. at Grandon Civic Center on East Fourth Street, and is sponsored by The Big Red Church.

Jernigan lives in Muskogee, Okla., with his wife and nine children. He has released more than 25 CDs, multiple songbooks and folios, and has written several books.
