I recently heard the ’80s Cheap Trick Song “I Want You to Want Me” on the radio. As I was doing a great shower rendition in my car, I started thinking about how the song relates to belonging to the chamber.
You may think this approach is a little unconventional, but let me expand on this thought.
Now it may seem there is some desperation on the part of the writer in the line about “feelin’ all alone.” It made me think about conversations I have had over the past 5 years with members.
At times I am certain some of our businesses have wondered if they are the only ones facing certain issues.
I am here to tell you – you are not. Not only are you not, but you also are probably not the first person to wonder regardless of the issue at hand what should you do next.
The great part about being part of the chamber is that you always have someone else you can lean on.
You can call the chamber and I’d be happy to talk with you to see if there are some suggestions I can offer. In addition, the chamber has more than 350 members you can ask for advice.
The great thing about business is there almost always is someone wanting to share information on how to avoid issues they have had because we all want to see everyone succeed.
As the director of this great organization that encompasses so many great, local businesses and so many more wonderful people, I Want You to Want Me – Us.
We want to help promote your business and share the great things about this community with others.
