Senior Ermir Ramadamni, 18, of Ashton, is AFC High School’s April Student of the Month. He is the son of Arsim and Besa Ramadamni, and his sisters are Era, 15, and Sara, 8.

Favorite classes: Anatomy and biology.

Top teachers: Traci Gittleson, math, Rick Petitt, ag, and Shea Carpenter, science.

Extracurriculars: Basketball, football, Varsity Club, Leadership Club, National Honor Society, FFA, Student Council.

After graduation: Study nursing at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.
