STERLING – Parkway Retirement Center residents celebrated Older American’s Month in style with the help of Educators of Beauty and J.C.Penney Co.

Residents sporting clothing from J.C. Penney Co. participated in a fashion show. Kim Mueller planned the event and spent time with Clay Phillips, Bonnie Segura, and Jan Kuepker from J.C. Penney Co., who helped each woman select her attire.

The second ladies spa night had more than 30 participants. Invitations with a guest menu were sent to each resident. The women could select from a variety of spa services provided by the Educators of Beauty students. Rhonda Renner-Reese helped with the event. Candlelight, “Zen-like” music, champagne, and chocolate set the backdrop in the waiting area.
