PROPHETSTOWN – Diana F. Posey, 54, of Prophetstown, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was a server at Prophetstown Grade School for many years.

Diana was born Oct. 10, 1958, in Dixon, the daughter of Delbert and Joyce (Warrenfeltz) Hillison. She married Alan Posey on July 25, 1998, in Prophetstown. She was a member of Prophetstown United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; her father, Delbert Hillison, of Montello, Wis.; her mother, Joyce Warrenfeltz of Franklin Grove; two daughters, Nikki Johnson of Prophetstown and Jennifer Johnson of Walnut; three sons, Jeremy (Katie) Johnson of Chicago, Michael Johnson of Walnut, and Joshua Johnson of Sterling; one stepdaughter, Amber (fiancé Michael Rippy) Posey of Tampico; four stepsons, Brent (Kathy) Posey of Grandview Plaza, Kan., and Brian (Sherri) Posey, Mark Posey, and Shawn Posey, all of Streator; 13 grandchildren; and three brothers, Dan (Lori) Hillison of Ashton, Joe (Jen) Warrenfeltz of Franklin Grove, and Doug (Sue) Hillison of Polo.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and the funeral at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Prophetstown United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Cheri Stewart, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home in Prophetstown is handling arrangements.

A memorial has been established.
