STERLING – Dean B. Reynolds, 82, of Sterling, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Coventry Living Center in Sterling. He was employed by Northwestern Steel and Wire Co. in Sterling, in the 14-inch mill.

He was born Feb. 17, 1931, in Alicia, Ark., the son of Charles and Mattie (Robertson) Reynolds. He married Patsy Urton on April 28, 1951, in Sterling. Dean served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; his son, Lonny (Brenda) Reynolds of Sterling; his daughter, Karen Ramos of Rock Falls; his sister, Charlene (Mose) Woosley of Leesburg, Fla.; his brother, Glenn (Dee) Reynolds of Altoona, Fla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Vera Graddy; and two brothers, Charles Reynolds Jr. and Paul Reynolds.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday and the funeral at 10 a.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Ave., Rock Falls. Burial with military honors will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.
