Shoes needed for vulnerable children

PRINCETON – Another Child Foundation helps orphans and needy kids in Romania.

In July, leaders hope to collect more than 3,000 pairs of shoes, socks, and other humanitarian aid items for them.

Donated items must be new and appropriate for children and teens. Athletic shoes are needed most, in youth size 1 through adult size 7. Cash donations also are accepted to help cover distribution costs.

Volunteers also are sought to coordinate shoe drives at churches, businesses, schools, or through organization; and to travel to the Romania to help distribute items.

Drop-off locations will be at churches and businesses in the Sauk Valley and surrounding areas.

The foundation partners with Shoes for Orphan Souls. For more information, go to visit www.anotherchild.org or call 815-303-1725.
