Senior center to host ‘a walk’

MOUNT MORRIS – A springtime salad and dessert luncheon and historical program will be Thursday.

The meal is planned for 11:30 a.m., and the program follows at 12:30 p.m., at Disciples United Methodist Church, 102 Maple St.

Rochelle Pennington of Wisconsin, a newspaper columnist and author, will present the program, “A Walk Down Memory Lane.” Guests will be reminded about life in the 1930s through ’50s. There will be a PowerPoint presentation with vintage photographs.

Tickets are $10, which include the lunch and program. Proceeds will support the senior center’s programs, projects and services.
