Published: Saturday, May 18, 2013 1:15 a.m. CDT

ROCK FALLS – Dollar General will double its space when it moves to the former Walgreens building, next door at 1000 First Ave., which has been vacant a decade.

The store, which is moving June 25, has only 5,600 square feet at its 1002 First Ave. site, manager Lori Wyatt said. The extra space will be used to install four coolers in addition to the two they already have, she said.

Fidc Xiv LLC, of Boardman, Ohio, bought 1000 First Ave. on Feb. 28 for $600,000, according to the Coloma Township Assessor’s office.

Call 815-625-0260 to reach the store.
