Lucille C. Jacobs Bohn

DIXON – Lucille C. Jacobs Bohn, 91, of Dixon, formerly of Amboy and Lee Center, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Heritage Square in Dixon.

Lucille was born Dec. 12, 1921, in Harmon, the daughter of John and Lucinda (Portner) Jacobs. She married Raymond Bohn on Dec. 12, 1944, in Amboy. He preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 1996. She farmed with her husband in the Lee Center area. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Amboy.

Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte (Don) Huber of Oswego, L. Jean (Roger) Bauer of Kirkland, and Donna (Richard Guerrero) Bohn of Rock Falls; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Dora Dimmig and Gladys Willstead, both of Amboy, and Grace (Keith) Willstead of Harmon; brothers John Jacobs Jr. of Amboy and Earl (Bertha) Jacobs of Harmon; and sister-in-law Betty Bohn of Mendota.

She also was preceded in death by her son, William Bohn; a grandson, Jason Huber; and a sister, Helen DeWaele.

Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Amboy. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Carol Soderholm officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery in Lee Center.
