Morrison to open Saturday behind Heritage Museum

The Dixon Farmers Market is open from 7 a.m. to noon Wednesday and Saturday through October or early November, depending on the weather, in Haymarket Square in downtown Dixon.

Locally grown, fresh produce and other locally sourced food can mean only one thing: It’s farmers market season in the Sauk Valley.

The Morrison Farmers Market opens Saturday.

It runs from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturdays through Oct. 5, at 202 E. Lincolnway, behind the Heritage Museum.

The Dixon Farmers Market already is up and running for the season.

It is open from 7 a.m. to noon Wednesdays and Saturdays through Oct. 30, in Haymarket Square, 317 W. Third St.

The Twin City Market is open all year round. It runs from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays in the historic Twin City Produce Building, 106 Ave. A.
