Sign-up dates set for youth activities planned in Rock Falls

ROCK FALLS – Registration starts May 25 for this free summer’s reading program at Rock Falls Public Library, 1007 Seventh Ave.

Children from 3 years through fifth grade can take part. Sign-up will continue through June 8. When children check out books each week, they will receive two Book Bucks and one Dino Buck. When they attend a program, they also will receive two Book Bucks.

The Book Bucks can be used to buy items from the library store, which will be open during library hours June 24 to 29 and July 22 to 27. Dino Bucks may be used to enter a drawing for one of the stuffed animals displayed around the library.

Drawing winners will be notified July 29.

Songs, stories, and craft project sessions will be:

■ Tuesday for children 3 to 5 years, 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. or 1 to 1;45 p.m.,; or 4 to 4:45 p.m. for all ages with a variety of activities.
