Police: No children hurt in Springfield bus crash

SPRINGFIELD (AP) — A school bus has collided with another vehicle in Springfield, but police do not believe any of the children on the bus were injured.

Springfield Deputy Police Chief Cliff Buscher tells The State Journal-Register that a pregnant woman in the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.

The newspaper reports that the crash occurred shortly before 9 a.m. and involved a Springfield School District bus.

There was no immediate information about what caused the accident.
