Wisconsin crafter to share advice

FORRESTON – Country Crossroads Quilt Guild will meet Monday at Forreston Grove Church, 7246 Freeport Road.

Linda Halpin from Boscobel, Wis., will discuss “Hints, Tips, and Other Things,” a program about improving quilt quality. A potluck will be at 5:30 p.m. Warm-ups with nine patch tulip variations and “Easy Strip Blocks,” will start at 6:30 p.m. Halpin will speak at 7 p.m.

Halpin also will give a workshop about her Crossroads scrap quilt from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at the church. The workshop cost is $35 for all attending. Call Ruth Whitney at 815-262-0740 for more information.
