Senior Aleetra Roberts, 18, is the March Polo Community High School Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Kathy Yingling and Patrick O’Bryan, and has a sister, Zandrea, 13.
Favorite class: Biology II. It’s a class that applies to the real world.
Top teacher: Jason Kamp. He teaches advanced placement physics and chemistry II.
Favorite actors: Matthew Gray Gubler and Rachel McAdams.
After graduation: I’m going to Sauk Valley Community College in the fall to major in premed and play basketball. I’m pumped.
Favorite musical group-singer: Lady Gaga is by far my favorite. I’ve seen her in concert a few times.

What kind of music makes your skin crawl? None. I like at least one song in every genre.
Favorite movie: “Mean Girls.”
Favorite TV show: I have an unhealthy obsession with “Criminal Minds.”
Favorite food: Chicken parmesan.
Biggest fear: Being followed or stalked.
Least favorite class: Band.
Hobbies: I enjoy blogging and taking pictures.
I’d like to meet: The lead singer of Neon Trees, Tyler Glenn.
What would you do with $100,000? Save it. After Sauk, I can transfer to a bigger school.
What is one tip you would give the freshmen? Just go with the flow, but make sure to stand up for what you believe in.
Trading places: I would trade places with Michael Jordan. I want to know how it feels to dunk like a pro.
Trading spaces: I would love to go to the East Coast. I want to experience all the amazing opportunities it has to offer.
Read this: “Looking for Alaska,” by John Green. I enjoyed this book a lot. It has so much emotion in it.
