Computer scholarship winner

DIXON – Daniel Rodriguez of Sterling recently was awarded Sauk Valley Community College’s Computer Information Systems scholarship for the 2012-13 academic year. 

Rodriguez is a microcomputer applications major. He plans to graduate from Sauk this year with an Associate in Applied Science degree, and will pursue a career in the Sterling school system.

A 1997 graduate of Rock Falls High School, Daniel is the son of Jolanda Rodriguez-Hicks and Juan Rodriguez, both of Sterling.
