MORIARTY, N.M. – Carrie Irene Heckman, 82, of Moriarty, N.M., formerly of Dixon and La Luz, N.M., passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013, in Albuquerque, N.M.

Carrie was born Nov. 5, 1930, in Paw Paw, to George and Pheobe (Baker) Ketchum. She was a member of Moriarty Kingdom Hall.

She is survived by her son, Charles “Chuck” (Leann) Heckman of Edgewood, N.M.; daughters, Bobbi (Chuck) Webb of Albuquerque and Jodie Heckman of Moriarty; sister, Clara Cardot of Amboy; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; sisters; a son, Kevin Walter Heckman; and a grandson.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Moriarty Kingdom Hall, with Harold Redden officiating. Harris-Hanlon Mortuary of Moriarty is handling arrangements.
