Senior Payton Koch, 17, is Amboy High School’s April Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Candie and David Koch. Her sister is Cameryn, 14, and her brothers are Kye, 8, and Rylen, 1.

Favorite class: My favorite class is psychology, because learning about how people think interests me.

Top teacher: Elizabeth Scriven (Advanced Placement English). She always challenges me to do my best and makes the class interesting with a laugh or two.

Extracurriculars: National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, cheer, poms, and tumbling.

After graduation: I will study business in college.

Best friend: Whitni Hart, because we both share a strong interest in felines.

Favorite singer: Lil’ Wayne.

Favorite actor: Channing Tatum.

Favorite TV show: “Keeping Up With the The Kardashians.”

Hobbies: Tumbling and hanging out with friends.

Favorite outdoor activity: Swimming.

Favorite food: Chinese.

Biggest fear: Storms.

Least favorite class: American history.

What makes your blood boil? My sister stealing my clothes.

What kind of music makes your skin crawl? Classical.

Survival guide: The keys to surviving high school are to work hard, always do your best, and most importantly, have fun by getting involved and making memories.

Useless knowledge: Mr. Jones’ rules to kickball.

I’m in the dictionary next to: Funny, because I’m always smiling or laughing and can take a joke.

Trading places: I would like to trade places with Kim Kardashian for 1 day, so I could buy whatever I wanted and wear designer clothes.

Secret twin: Jim Carrey. We both have a spectacular sense of humor. LOL.

Personal trivia: I have a tattoo.

Dream job: The president.

Trading spaces: I would go to Paris to see all of the sights.
