DIXON – Joseph Lee Youngren, 27, of Dixon, died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at his home. He worked at Wahl Clipper in Sterling.

Joseph was born Feb. 7, 1986, in Sterling, the son of Mark B. and Kimberly K. (Bergstrom) Youngren. He married Bonnie Lovell on Oct. 10, 2008, in Dixon.  

Survivors include his wife and son, Mark Youngren, both of Dixon; his mother, Kimberly (James) Craig of Buffalo, Mo.; his paternal grandfather, Herbert Youngren of Dixon; one brother, Lucas Null of Dixon; one sister, Kasi (Humberto) Serrano of Buffalo; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Kory Youngren; his paternal grandmother; and maternal grandmother and grandfather.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace United Methodist Church in Dixon, followed by his memorial service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Marilyn Nolan, pastor, officiating. Burial of cremains will be at East Jordan Cemetery at a later date.  

A memorial has been established.
