STERLING – Whiteside County churchgoers are asked to bring jars of smooth peanut butter and jelly to their place of worship Sunday for the Let’s Feed Our Children summer lunch program.

The program, sponsored by the United Way of Whiteside County, provides free lunches to children over the summer, starting May 28. Almost 30,000 lunches were prepared and served in 2012.
