Bike stunts part of safety program

PROPHETSTOWN – “Wonder Wheels BMX” will perform stunts at a free bicycle safety program at 10 a.m. Saturday at Prophetstown Elementary School, 301 W. Third St.

Six new bicycles will be given to children in kindergarten through fifth grade, and on Thursday, each Prophetstown Elementary kindergartner will get a new helmet.

Winning Wheels is sponsoring its 14th bicycle safety program. Call Mike Chastain, 815-537-5168, ext. 206, for more information.
