Tea-tasting event to fund pet care

DIXON – A tea-tasting event to benefit the Amos Fund, a local nonprofit that helps pay veterinary bills for owners with low or fixed incomes, will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Traditional Wellness Center, 216 W. First St.

There will be 10 teas to taste, and desserts. Dixon guitarist Mike Chandler will play.

Tickets are $10 in advance at the Wellness Center and River Ridge Animal Hospital, 273 state Route 2, or $12.50 at the door. All proceeds benefit the fund.
