Stop for tacos, help raise money

STERLING – Rock River Valley International Fellowship will sponsor a taco supper May 29 to raise funds for a number of programs.

Food will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Mary Parish Hall, 600 Avenue B.

The cost is $6 for two tacos, beans, rice, and a beverage. A dessert bar of homemade pies, cakes, and cookies will cost extra. Tickets will be sold in advance and at the door. Carry-outs will be available.

Money from the fundraiser provides support for the International Thanksgiving Program, the U.S. State Department International Visitor Leadership Program, and the U.S Congress-Bundestag Young German Professionals Program. Contact Carol Deibert at 815-625-5896 for tickets or more information.
