NICIL to offer job information course

STERLING – A Work Incentives Workshop, “You Can Be Employed,” is scheduled for 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. May 21.

The program will be at Sterling Federal Bank, 110 E. Fourth St.

Ron Mulvaney, Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Program director, is the presenter.

The workshop is for those interested in understanding how work may impact disability payments and health care benefits. Ideal participants are those looking to start a job or return to the workplace and are on Social Security disability beneficiary programs.

The event is cosponsored by WIPA and Northwestern Illinois Center for Independent Living.
