Thanks zoning members for gutsy 'no' votes

Thank you, Mr. Tom Fassler, Mr. Craig Buhrow, and Mr. Mike Pratt of the Lee County Zoning Board, for your vote of “thumbs down” for Mainstream.

The County Board may still give Mainstream its approval, but you gentlemen will be remembered, down the road, as having the intestinal fortitude (guts) to stand up to Mainstream.

God bless you.

Thank you also to SVM reporter Mr. David Giuliani for your fair and unbiased coverage of those meetings.

Rock Falls is considering a ban on leaf burning. Should the city finally take that step?
