Kind thoughts, prayers were appreciated

Published: Friday, May 3, 2013 1:15 a.m. CDT

My family and I would like to extend our sincere thanks to all who have shared their concern about our recent experience at the Boston Marathon.

Your kind thoughts and prayers were truly felt and deeply appreciated. There remain many individuals and families in Boston who continue to need those prayers.

I would also like to make residents of the Sauk Valley aware of a fund established for the benefit of the victims of the tragedy that occurred on April 15. It is called The One Fund-Boston and can be accessed at onefundboston.com for anyone who would like to make a donation to those who were affected by this senseless act.
