State begins bridge work

ROCK FALLS – Painting and repair work have begun on the U.S. Highway 30 bridge at the interchange with Interstate 88, and should be done by the end of June, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction. Drivers should reduce speed and be alert for vehicles changing lanes.
