ROCK FALLS – Norma L. Gaumer, 81, of Rock Falls, died Monday, April 29, 2013, at Sterling Pavilion. She was a church pianist at Como Baptist Church.

Norma was born March 31, 1932, in Benton, the daughter of Cecil and Ethel (Runnels) Sanders. She married Gene Gaumer on May 23, 1982, in Sterling.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Jeanne (Randy) Meeks of Sterling; one stepdaughter, Julie (Hal) Lennon of Freeport; one stepson, Timothy (Mary) Gaumer of Oakland, Calif.; one sister-in-law, Elinor Sanders of Sterling; four grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Sanders.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday and the funeral at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling, with the Rev. Tommie McMurtry II, pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in Rock Falls, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling.

A memorial has been established.
