Lee County citizens get help finding lost valuables

DIXON – State Treasurer Dan Rutherford and members of his staff assisted Lee and Ogle County residents tin finding lost money and property April 24.

Rutherford and I-Cash representatives stopped at the Dixon Public Library and Abraham’s Barn and Grille in Rochelle.

According to a January list of unclaimed property holders, 15,334 people in Ogle County have $2,258,138 in unclaimed property, while 11,089 in Lee County have $2,129,743 to claim.
