Celebrating Arboy Day in Sterling

Published: Saturday, April 27, 2013 12:27 a.m. CDT

Sterling High School senior students Dasan Klingenberg and Marissa Larson water a Sir Galahad Flowering Crab tree that was planted at the high school Friday morning by the Sterling Tree Board. The board celebrated Arbor Day by planting five trees as they apply for a Tree City USA recognition. The volunteer students are members of BLIND (Building Lasting Impressions that Never Die), a student group that teaches character and leadership.
