The Blackhawks' Nick Leddy checks Calgary's Akim Aliu into the boards during the first period of the Hawks' 3-1 victory Friday in Chicago.

CHICAGO – Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews didn’t seem to acknowledge that the Blackhawks weren’t playing for much against the Flames on Friday night in their final regular-season home game.

They both scored their 23rd goal of the season in the first period of a 3-1 victory over the Flames at the United Center.

Marcus Kruger scored his first goal since Feb. 15 in the third period to make the Hawks comfortable.

Corey Crawford (19-5-5) made 25 saves while fellow goaltender Ray Emery sat out Friday’s game with a lower-body injury.
