DRUG CASE: Vincent W. Fiore, 46, of Mount Morris, and Myles O. Olsen, 40, of Bartlett; both charged with two counts of manufacturing marijuana and producing 50 to 200 marijuana plants.

Police said they found about 45 pounds of marijuana, with a street value of about $635,000, and more than 150 pot plants in a home in Deer Grove April 17, before arresting Fiore and Olsen.

The task force then searched a home in Bartlett where Olsen reportedly lives, and two homes, in Morris and LaSalle, both owned by Fiore. In those three searches, they seized $24,000 in cash and $190,000 in assets believed to be derived from drug sales and other activity, police said.

On the docket: Preliminary hearings for both.
