Spring into the arts in Morrison

Students offer art show, play

MORRISON – The Morrison School District is hosting a “Spring into the Arts” fine arts weekend May 3-5.

The fun begins with the musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” which will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Morrison High School, 643 Genesee Ave.

Admission is $5; tickets are available at Fitzgerald’s Pharmacy and at the door.

The show is being held in conjunction with the Morrison Musical Theatre Association.

A K-12 art show sponsored by the Children’s Art Preservation Association will be held from noon to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Morrison Junior High School, 300 Academic Drive.

Admission is free.
