Caregiver learns new techniques

DIXON – Physical Therapist Lindsey Nauman-Kaleel of Orthopedic Rehab Specialists of Dixon attended Developing Post Surgical Rehab programs.

The 2-day course was designed to enhance fundamental understanding of the surgical approach for the cervical and lumbar spine in order to effectively develop progressive rehabilitation protocols.

The key to successful post surgical rehabilitation is understanding the mechanism of injury, physiological healing time, mechanical changes, and surgical techniques.

The course prepares caregivers to identify effective rehabilitation procedures for safe therapeutic management for positive functional outcomes.

Agents discuss housing matters

ROCK FALLS – Chris King, with United County Sauk Valley Realty in Rock Falls, attended the Illinois Association of Realtors 37th annual Capitol Conference April 16 in Springfield.

About 400 realtors convened to review issues affecting homeowners and the real estate industry with lawmakers.

Attendees also discussed pending legislation of the IAR legislative agenda. Gov. Pat Quinn and Attorney General Lisa Madigan also attended the event.
