DIXON – A tea-tasting event to benefit the Amos Fund, a local nonprofit that helps pay vet bills for owners with low or fixed incomes, will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. May 4 at the Traditional Wellness Center, 216 W. First St.
There will be 10 teas to taste as well as desserts made by Amos Fund member Marcey Keefe. Musician Mike Chandler of Dixon will play acoustic guitar.
Tickets are $10 in advance at the Wellness Center and River Ridge Animal Hospital, 273 state Route 2, or $12.50 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Amos Fund, which was established by Deb Proctor of Sterling.
