Registration on for HEA meeting

FRANKLIN GROVE – The 84th annual meeting of the Lee County Homemakers Education Association starts with registration at 9:30 a.m. May 9 in the fellowship hall at Franklin Grove Church of the Brethren, 121 W. North St. The meeting begins at 10 a.m.

The theme will be “The Many Hats of HEA” Betty Obendorf will speak at 1 p.m. on hats from different periods and historical and cultural information related to the time.

The cost is $10; advance registration is appreciated. Make checks payable to Lee County HEA, and send them to Donna Wellman, P.O. Box 27, Lee Center, IL 61331-0027. Call Wellman at 815-857-2118 or Shirley Rees at 815-824-2279 for more information.
