DIXON – The Dixon School Board is giving nonunion support staff – hourly employees such as custodians, clerical staff and nurses – a 2 percent raise, retroactive to the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.

The vote came after closed session Wednesday.

The school board will receive recommendations for administrator’s pay at its May 15 meeting, Superintendent Michael Juenger said.

The board accepted the resignation of Chris Tennyson, assistant principal of Dixon High School, effective June 27. Tennyson was hired as principal at Fulton High School.

The assistant principal position has not been posted yet, Juenger said.
