Louis L. Sari

SUBLETTE – Louis L. Sari, 59, of Sublette, died Friday, April 19, 2013, at Amboy Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Louis was born Nov. 5, 1953, in Chicago, the son of David and Gloria (Benigni) Sari. He married Kimberly Bellinger on Nov. 3, 1984, in Johnstown, N.Y. Louis served as the pastor of Sublette Union Church for 10 years, and also served in the Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly, of Sublette, two sisters, Grace (George) Winograd, of Lindenhurst, and Marianne (Jeffrey) Fitch, of Chicago; two brothers, Anthony (Nancy) Sari, of Spencer, Wis., and Peter (Juanita) Sari, of Downers Grove; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one unborn child.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Sublette Union Church, 500 W. Main St. A memorial service will follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sublette Union Church, Moody Bible Institute, Open Air Campaigns, or Kids Klub.

Arrangements were completed by McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Falls.
