MORRISON – Robert A. James, 81, of 17591 Lyndon Road, Morrison, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at his home. He was a lifetime farmer in the rural Morrison area.

Robert was born Nov. 30, 1931, in Sterling, the son of Arthur A. and Hazel (McCune) James. He served in the Navy Air Forces during the Korean War. He married Ruby C. Knox on Nov. 16, 1956, in Morrison.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Bobbie James and Julie James, and one son, Michael (Lisa) James, all of Morrison; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Pat Wagenecht and Ardythe Rice, both of Morrison.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Carmen Dykema.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday and the funeral at 11 a.m. Monday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison, with the Rev. Mike Selburg, pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Morrison, officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Interment will be at Heaton Cemetery in Morrison.

Memorials have been established.
