CHADWICK – William “Beef” Daehler, 49, of Chadwick, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Bill was born March 5, 1964, in Morrison, the son of Leon and Marilyn (Erdmier) Daehler. He attended Chadwick High School, graduating with the class of 1983.

Bill worked at Larem’s Machine Shop in Chadwick, TeeLee Popcorn in Shannon, Carroll Tiling Services in Chadwick, and Wahl Clipper Corp. in Sterling. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, riding all-terrain vehicles, building turkey fryers, and spending time with his Jack Russell terrier, Josie.

Bill will be dearly missed by his brother, Jeffrey Daehler of Chadwick; sister, Connie (Kevin) Dimmick of Mount Carroll; three nephews, Kiersten, Kyler, and Koltin; and one niece, Kaileine.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon in 1995; and his mother, Marilyn, in 2006.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday and the funeral at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chadwick, with the Rev. Chris Schoon, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Chadwick Cemetery. Law-Jones Funeral Home in Chadwick is handling arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established.
