New ideas to be offered at class

OREGON – Marilyn Csernus, University of Illinois Extension nutrition and wellness educator, will present “Cooking from Your Cabinet” Wednesday. The instruction will be at the Ogle County Extension office, 421 W. Pines Road.

From 11 a.m. to noon, participants will learn how to maximize simple cabinet staples to make cooking at home easier and healthier, while discovering new ideas for cooking with what is in the pantry.

The cost is $5. Registration is due Tuesday.
